Designer & BRAND GURU Chanin Walsh launched BROWNDOGDESIGN in 2008, after kickstarting her career in advertising agencies in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Philadelphia. With a level of proficiency honed by thirty years of graphic design and business experience, Chanin brings tireless energy, talent, and a remarkable intuition for translating vision into showstopping and lasting brands.
The story of BROWNDOGDESIGN represents Chanin’s ‘unconditional love’ for excellence in design, And, just like the unconditional love from a dog, this mark has become symbolic of Chanin’s passion, loyalty and devotion to her clients which are the foundation for her heartfelt desire to help companies succeed and grow.
As an only child, Chanin’s very first dog was her true sole companion and so, from there it began, and she has always had a dog by her side—through thick and thin. Her first brown dog HERSHIE came to Chanin as a rescue. Now known as the ‘Carolina dog’ or ‘American Dingo,’ which Chanin describes as a ‘culmination of ‘all the dog breeds mixed together.’ She remembers making the metaphorical connection between her blended dog and marketing and branding efforts. The culmination of everything you’ve learned or inspire to be is outcome—the best of all things put together.
Just as her faithful furry companions have changed throughout the years, Chanin’s own brand and business model have evolved as well. But, no matter where her business takes her her passion, loyalty and devotion to her clients are traits that remain steadfast.

“There is no such thing as competition.”
Sue McManus
I have had the pleasure of working with Chanin and Brown Dog Design for over 12 years and never have been disappointed in the quality of design or associated products provided to myself or my clients. Her insight into design and the ‘personality’ of the company is spot-on. “
Long before the pandemic and in true form of a being a trendsetter, Chanin had her sights set on taking her creative inspiration and design work on the road. This dream became a reality in 2020 when she BRANDED a NuCamp 320 Tab trailer — “STELLA” — and hitched it to her Jeep wrangler. The dream is now a reality with the addition of the newest BROWNDOG “Keva”. The summer of 2020 was spent solo on the road, meeting with clients from a distance. These days Chanin and Keva can be seen throughout Bucks county in the spring, summer and fall working from the places that supply the most creative inspiration.
“I would most like to be everywhere all at once.”
